Welcome to Fischer Legal Services, PLLC. Formally, we are Fischer Legal Services, PLLC (“Fischer Legal Services,” “we,” “us,” and “our”). Among other things, we practice business, technology, commercial, and intellectual property law. We represent start-ups, small businesses, emerging growth companies, and other organizations. As part of this effort, we provide information and services online, including via this website (the “Site”), as well as through occasional electronic communications, including newsletters and similar materials (collectively, the “Services”).
Each person or entity who uses our Services is referred to as a “user,” “you,” or “your.” This Privacy Statement and any applicable Terms of Service apply to each user.
This document describes our privacy practices (this “Privacy Statement”). Among other things, it explains how we and certain third parties collect, use, share, and protect information you provide to us (“Content” or “User Content”). This Privacy Statement applies only to information collected by Fischer Legal Services through the Services. It does not apply to websites, applications, or services operated by third parties.

For purposes of privacy laws that distinguish between “controllers” and “processors” of Personal Data, Fischer Legal Services acts as the “Data Controller,” meaning the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data. We collect Content from users in connection with providing the Services. Some of this Content constitutes Personal Data that may be used to communicate with you or respond to inquiries. Other Content consists of Behavioral Data and other Non-Personal Data that may be aggregated and used to understand usage of the Services and improve functionality.

We may collect and store communications you send to us, including emails, messages submitted through the Site, and other electronic communications. We may also send communications to you regarding inquiries, updates, or other matters related to the Services.
Information Collected Through Use of the Services
Emails and Messages.
We may retain emails or messages sent to us and may share such communications internally or with third parties as necessary for business, administrative, or legal purposes.
Social Media.
You may interact with us through third-party social media platforms. Content posted on such platforms is governed by the privacy policies of those platforms. Any User Content posted publicly may include Personal Data and may be collected and used by us in connection with marketing or informational activities.
Analytics Tools.
We may use third-party analytics tools to collect Non-Personal Data regarding use of the Services. These tools collect information such as pages visited, referring sources, browser types, and similar information. We aggregate this data and do not use it to identify individual users. One such tool may be Google Analytics. Information regarding Google’s data practices is available through Google.
Metadata and Log Data.
Our servers may automatically record technical information (“Log Data”) created through use of the Services. Log Data may include IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, access times, pages viewed, and similar information. We use Log Data to operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
2. How We Store Information
The Services are operated from within the United States. Personal Data and other Content collected through the Services are stored on servers located in the United States.
Certain Content you submit may incidentally reveal additional Personal Data, including information regarding preferences or other personal characteristics. By using the Services or submitting information to us, you consent to the storage and processing of such information in the United States.

We use and share Personal Data in the following circumstances:
Provision of Services.
To operate, maintain, and provide the Services, including responding to inquiries and communications.
Consent.
We may share Personal Data with third parties where you have expressly consented to such sharing.
Service Providers.
We may share Personal Data with third-party service providers who assist with hosting, analytics, communications, or administrative functions. Such providers are authorized to use Personal Data only as necessary to provide services to us.
Cookies.
Cookies are small data files placed on your device. We use cookies to support site functionality and analytics. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect functionality.
Do Not Track.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because no uniform standard exists for responding to such signals, we do not currently respond to them.
Legal Requirements.
We may access, preserve, or disclose Personal Data when required by law or where we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or property, prevent fraud or misuse, or protect personal safety.
Change of Control.
If Fischer Legal Services undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets, Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Non-Personal Data.
We may share aggregated Non-Personal Data publicly or with third parties for informational or analytical purposes.

5. Access, Correction, and Disclosure Requests
Where required by applicable law, users may request access to Personal Data maintained by us and may request corrections to inaccurate information. Requests may be denied where permitted by law, and we may provide explanations for any denial.
Any Personal Data or Content voluntarily disclosed publicly may become available to others and may be redistributed by third parties beyond our control.
6. Changes to This Privacy Statement
We may modify this Privacy Statement from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site or upon other notice as required by law. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Statement.
7. Different Locations, Different Laws
Privacy laws vary by jurisdiction. If any provision of this Privacy Statement conflicts with applicable law, the applicable law will control.
Consent to United States Law
All Personal Data collected through the Services is processed and stored in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to the application of United States law to such data.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If we learn that Personal Data has been collected from a minor, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
9. Use of Contact Information
If you provide contact information, you may receive communications from us regarding services or updates. You may opt out of non-essential communications by contacting us.
